Study Agriculture with us get your hands dirty on a 600-hectare farm primed for sheep and cattle farming, pasture development, fencing and harvesting.
Focus on hands-on training at our farm in Yan Yean (Certificate II and III students), with higher level course students offered a blend of practical experiences and strategic farm management.
Students may also learn onsite at our industry vineyards and wineries for Bachelor of Agriculture and Technology. You'll also learn vital business skills to give you the edge in any job, such as project management, professional communication skills, resilience and teamwork, problem solving and time management.
Melbourne Polytechnic has been delivering job-related training since 1912. Hands-on TAFE (VET) and higher education (degree) programs. You’ll learn real-life skills for real-world workplaces from our friendly, knowledgeable teachers.
We are the largest training provider in Melbourne’s north with seven campuses, industry-relevant training centres in Ararat and Eden Park, and Skills and Jobs Centres in Plenty Valley, Doncaster and Northland.
